Terms of Service
Agreement
These terms govern your use of irvinereglazing.com and the reglazing services provided by Irvine Reglazing ("we", "us") in Irvine, California and surrounding areas. By requesting a quote, scheduling work or using this website you agree to them. If you have a written service agreement with us, that agreement controls where the two differ.
Quotes and pricing
- Quotes are free and carry no obligation. They are based on the information and photos you provide and are valid for 30 days.
- If the surface differs materially from what was described (for example hidden damage, a previous refinish that must be stripped, or additional surfaces), we will tell you before starting and give you a revised price. You may decline the revised work at no charge.
- Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Scheduling and cancellations
- Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
- Before we arrive, remove toiletries, mats, curtains and belongings from the work area, and fix any leaks or dripping faucets. A surface that cannot be dried cannot be coated.
- Keep pets and children out of the work area during the job and until the coating has cured.
Warranty
Coverage period. Bathtubs, showers, fiberglass tub and shower enclosures, tile walls and floors, and bathroom sinks are covered by a 2-year written warranty from the date of completion. Kitchen sinks are covered by a 6-month warranty because of their heavier daily use.
What is covered. Peeling, bubbling, flaking or loss of adhesion of the coating we applied, under normal residential use, when the care instructions we provide are followed.
What is not covered.
- Use of the surface before the cure time we specify.
- Damage from abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, bleach-based or acidic cleaners, drain-cleaning chemicals or solvents.
- Bath mats, appliqués or anything with suction cups left on the surface.
- Impact damage, scratches, chips or cuts (for example dropped objects, pots, tools or pet claws).
- Damage caused by plumbing leaks, dripping faucets, standing water behind or under the surface, or structural movement.
- Rust that originates from the substrate beneath the coating, or failure of a prior refinish by another company.
- Normal wear, gloss reduction over time, or color variation from the original sample.
- Surfaces that have been altered, repaired or recoated by anyone other than us.
Remedy. If a covered defect appears during the warranty period, contact us through the contact page with a photo and the approximate date of the job. We will inspect the surface and, at our option, repair or recoat the affected area at no charge. This is the sole remedy under the warranty. The warranty applies to the original customer at the original address and is not transferable unless we agree in writing.
Care. Wait the full cure time before use. Clean with a non-abrasive liquid cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge. Do not use suction-cup mats. Fix drips promptly. Following these steps keeps the finish glossy for many years beyond the warranty period.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services or this website is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use or rental income. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
